“One Dream, Sharing One Platform” Shang Media successfully held the 2014 American East Elite Tour Guide Club Annual Conference

On April 4th, Shang Media, together with Hornblower Cruise, organized the ‘One Dream, Sharing One Platform’ American East Elite Tour Guide Club Annual Conference on a luxury cruise in Manhattan, NY. Nearly 150 tour operators, 22 brands; over 200 guests attended the conference, which was a grand gathering for experts in the fashion industry.

Shang’s publisher Ms. Li Li’s welcoming speech kicked off the event at 3p.m. Representatives from American Chinese Travel Association, bus company, ticket agencies and merchants also gave speeches. They appreciated the platform that Shang provided and hoped to better collaborate with Shang in the future. During the event, Shang Media’s IT Director Mr Adam Ma gave a demonstration of Shang’s digital platform, which includes Shang GPS and smart phone APP. He hoped to provide a more convenient and immediate channel for both tour operators and the brands.

Tiffany was the exclusive sponsor for this event. The event reached a climax during the raffle. Many gifts were raffled off, with the highest value of $1,410. They were from La Prairie, Bloomingdale’s, Valmont,GNC,Empire State Building, Liberty Helicopter, Hu Business International Group, Hornblower, Giorgio Armani, Shang media’s attorney Mr. Tang, etc. The winner of the La Pararie gift Amy Lin said: “This is my first time to attend Shang’s event. I am really glad to join this platform. I hope there will be more such opportunities, if possible, our tour operation would love to sponsor such great event.” The tour guide Kevin Zhang, who won a $1,365 Valmont gift bag said:” Shang’s platform is great! In the past one year, I have attended most of Shang’s events whenever I have the time. I will continue to support Shang Media and encourage my colleagues to join in too!”

The conference successfully ended at 5p.m. The merchants who attended this event showed their interests of Shang’s events and platforms. They hope to keep in touch with Shang Media and collaborate with Shang Media in the future. Moreover, PORTS1961 and Folli Follie, which are well known brands in China, hope Shang could help them to expand their North America market and welcome more Chinese customers.

The whole event ended with the After Party at 8p.m. The gourmet food, the music, the breathtaking view of Manhattan, the Statue of Liberty… Every guest spent an unforgettable evening with Shang Media!
