SHANG Magazine Luxury Brand Showcase Successfully Expanded to West Coast

September 19th 2012,  SHANG Magazine held Luxury Brand Showcase Event for exclusive event sponsor Bijan, in the brand’s sumptuous store located in Beverly Hills, CA. With the cooperation of China Inbound Travel Association (CITA), 33 active Chinese tour operators from the US West coast attended the event.

SHANG magazine hosted a series of luxury brand showcase events in the east coast, to build a platform that connect brands and tour operators, to better expore the fast growing Chinese tourist market.   Bijan brand showcase is the first of such events SHANG team hosted in the west coast, and was enthusiastically welcomed by local Chinese tour operators and travel association.   ‘ We are looking forward to participant more of such events’ Jason Wang, vice president of CITA said ‘ understanding those brands will help us to better serve Chinese tourists … this is a win-win cooperation for both tour operators and brands.’

In the beginning of the Event,  Mr. Dar,  co-founder and chairman of Bijan shared the story of the brand with all the guest,  a story about how they maintained their role of one of the most prestigious man’s wear brands in the past 37 years.  After the speech, Ms.  Messa, general manager of the store, lead a tour for tour operators around the store so that they can closely experienc the spirit of the brand as well as personally feel the quality of Bijan’s products.

In the question and answer section,  Bijan team answered guests’ questions with details; questions regarding incentive programs, privet shopping, pricing etc. The raffle section prepared by sponsors made the highlight of the events.  In the cocktail and networking session after the main event,  Bijan’s first-class customer service team answered more questions from guests.   Aside of a better understanding of the brand, each tour operator also bring home two bottles of Bijan classical fragrances and a Bijan hat.  They also exchanged their contact information with the brands for future business opportunities.

SHANG magazine luxury brand showcase events’ first stop in the west coast achieved great success.   Event been highly appreciated by tour operators and sponsor.  Later this year, SHANG team will host more similar events in both east coast and west coast, keep building this platform for tour operators and brands to achieve mutual benefit.
