Luxury Brand Showcase on April 2nd

ollowing the astounding debut of the series event, the Luxury Brands Showcase organized by Shang magazine in January this year, Shang held it once again on April 2 at the top-floor conference room of the Le Parker Meridian (New York) Hotel, in cooperation with the American Chinese Travel Association (Eastern). The event was cordially requested by both the companies and customers, and lustered by its great gathering of distinguished guests and ardent atmosphere. The luxury brands of Audemars Piguet (AP) watch,  VERTU cell phone, ZILLI garment, Folli Follie jewelry and George Jensen jewelry & watch enjoyed their elegant exposure in front of the audience, and the audience accordingly knew more about the brands and their policies. Both parties were encouraged by this win-win situation with mutually beneficial prospect.

And all the distinguished friends who are here at this event today!

While we arrived today from different places,our goal is the same— how to take the fullest advantage of the rapidly expanding Chinese tourist market .Today’s Chinese customers are becoming wealthier by the day. They take traveling abroad as fashionable. According to statistics, 1.1 million tourists from mainland China visited America last year. This year, President Obama is increasing visa availability to the Chinese by 40%, which means an estimated 1.5 million Chinese tourists will visit America in 2012.

While sightseeing is one of the items on their visiting agenda, the purchase of luxury goods is still the most prominent attraction. Shang is their guide. Shang introduces the spirit and stories behind the brands. Shang presents reliable resources for Chinese tourists as they choose which brands to purchase. Not only is this type of marketing is a valuable source of information and opportunity for both the brands and the consumers, but it is also exciting.

For over a year now, Shang Magazine has been growing rapidly. Shang has become, with the support from major luxury brands, a significantinfluence in this market, and this is just the beginning. One of the main reasons for Shang’s success is that their staff fully understands both the Chinese and American markets. Shang has built a vast platform by creatively bridging the East and West.
